Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 mL) dry white wine chilled
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 0.5 cup brandy
  • 0.25 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 apple medium, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 orange medium, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup club soda chilled

Equipment

  • 1 3-quart pitcher

Method

  1. In a 3-quart pitcher, stir together the dry white wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick, apple, and orange.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 8 hours.
  4. Stir in the chilled club soda just before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, chill the sangria for at least 2 hours and add the club soda just before serving. Refrigerate leftovers and use within 1 day; do not freeze, as the fruit and carbonation will lose their texture.
