Ingredients

Chicken
  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Wraps & Filling
  • 4 high-protein flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrots
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
Greek Yogurt Ranch
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing

Equipment

  • 1 cast iron skillet

Method

Season and sear the chicken
  1. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and the center reaches 165°F, flipping once for even browning.
  4. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes, then slice it into thin strips while it stays juicy.
Make the Greek yogurt ranch
  1. Mix the plain Greek yogurt and ranch dressing until smooth and creamy.
Warm and fill the tortillas
  1. Warm the tortillas for 15–20 seconds in a dry skillet or microwave until flexible, then stack to keep them pliable.
  2. Layer each tortilla with romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded carrots, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced chicken, and chopped green onions.
  3. Spoon the Greek yogurt ranch mixture over the filling, then fold in the sides.
  4. Roll each tortilla tightly and slice each wrap diagonally through the center before serving immediately.
Meal prep tip
  1. For meal prep, wrap tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve for best texture.

Notes

Pro tip: warm tortillas right before assembling so they don’t crack when you roll. Refrigerate assembled wraps in airtight wrapping for up to 3 days; for best results, keep extra ranch separate if you want crunchier tortillas. Freezing is not recommended for assembled wraps. For a lighter option, use reduced-fat ranch dressing (or all Greek yogurt with extra herbs) to keep the creamy texture with fewer calories.
