Bomb Pop Drink

Bomb Pop Drink makes a fun red, white, and blue layered beverage using chilled blue sports drink, lemon-lime soda, and fruit punch. The layers are built slowly over a spoon for a clean, popsicle-inspired look, then finished with fresh berries and an optional mini Bomb Pop popsicle.

Ingredients

Blue Layer
  • 1 cup blue sports drink chilled
  • 1 ice cubes
White Layer
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda chilled
  • 1 tbsp coconut cream optional
Red Layer
  • 1 cup fruit punch chilled
Garnish
  • 1 fresh strawberries
  • 1 fresh blueberries
  • 1 mini Bomb Pop popsicles optional

Method

Build the ice base
  1. Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes until well covered.
  2. Pour the chilled blue sports drink into each glass until each reaches about one-third full, leaving room for the next layers.
Create the white and red layers
  1. Slowly pour the chilled lemon-lime soda over the back of a spoon to form the white layer without mixing.
  2. Carefully pour the chilled fruit punch over the spoon to create the red layer.
Garnish and serve
  1. Garnish each glass with fresh strawberries and fresh blueberries.
  2. Add a mini Bomb Pop popsicle if desired.
  3. Serve immediately so the layers stay distinct.

Notes

For the cleanest layers, keep all liquids fully chilled and pour slowly over the back of a spoon so each layer settles before it blends. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 1 day, but expect layers to soften; freezing is not recommended. For a lighter version, swap the fruit punch for a lower-sugar fruit punch or use diet lemon-lime soda if you want fewer added sugars.
